Maral Donabedian, MD


Dr. Donabedian's care philosophy is to assist every patient in achieving optimum health and maintain a healthy lifestyle. She attended medical school at the prestigious American University (AUB) affiliated with the State University of NY. She then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Good Samaritan Hospital of Baltimore affiliated with the Johns Hopkins Hospital and obtained her Board Certification in Internal Medicine. She attended undergraduate school at AUB and obtained her BS in Biological Sciences.

She is also interested in academic medicine and has done research in the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital and her work has contributed to the publication of a paper in JMCC (Journal of Molecular and Cellular Cardiology). She has also been awarded the Fogarty fellowship at the NIA (National Institute of Aging).

She has a special interest in Hospital Medicine and has served as a hospitalist in multiple hospitals and has also worked with a hospitalist group designated by United Health Care and Pacificare insurances. She has been elected a Top Doc by the Pasadena Magazine for the years 2013-2016. She is currently an attending in Cedar's Sinai and Providence St Joseph Hospitals.
